📖 Text: 1 John 5:4 — “For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”

---

💡 1. Be Born of God

To overcome, you must first belong to God.

When you receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, His Spirit comes to live in you — and that power makes you victorious over sin and the world.

👉 “Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.” (1 John 4:4)

---

💡 2. Walk by Faith, Not by Sight

Faith is your weapon.

Even when life looks hard, faith reminds you that God is still in control.

Through faith, you see victory before it happens — because you trust God’s promises more than your problems.

👉 “We walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7)

---

💡 3. Overcome Evil with Good

The Bible doesn’t tell us to fight evil with evil, but with love, kindness, and truth.

When you forgive, help others, and show goodness, you defeat the plans of the enemy.

👉 “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” (Romans 12:21)

---

💡 4. Stay Strong in Trials

Trials test your faith but also make you stronger.

An overcomer doesn’t give up when life gets tough — they press on, knowing that God is shaping them for greater glory.

👉 “In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” (Romans 8:37)

---

💡 5. Remember Christ Has Already Overcome

Jesus has already won the greatest battle — over sin, death, and Satan.

When you face life’s struggles, remember: you are fighting from victory, not for victory.

👉 “Be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

---

🙏 Prayer:

> Lord Jesus, thank You for giving me victory through Your death and resurrection. Strengthen my faith to stand firm in every trial. Help me to overcome fear, sin, and doubt. I declare that through You, I am more than a conqueror. Amen.

Philippians  1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

This scripture above teaches us the readiness of God towards us to help through what ever He the Lord has started in our lives

Our duty is to wholly trust him and depend absolutely on him . To help us through the difficult times

God is sure going to bring us to a place of completion do you trust HIM enough?

The question is what has God started in your life , what are you doing currently are you doing by your strength by your wisdom or by you might ?

Never do it yourself lean to trust him

The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, without painful toil for it prov 10 vs 22 NIV

God wants to bless us with whole-life prosperity to establish His covenant with us, give us life more abundantly, and empower us to bless others and further the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The idea that God wants His people sick, sad or living in poverty is completely against His Word and His very nature.

Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. Psalm 35 vs 27

To enjoy financial stability there are pits you must avoid and there are principles you must apply .

As a believer you must learn to draw the line with your chase for money at the expense of your faith and family .

Your desire for riches must be checked sincerely .

Whoever loves money never has enough (Ecclesiastes 5:10)

Then you must remember It is God who gives you the ability to produce wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18)

Don’t be greedy for money (1 Peter 5:2)

God blesses those who make money through honest work rather than sinful practices.

God calls us to pay back what we owe and help those who have helped us.

You are in need of financial stability the first thing to to is go into prayers as you pray ideas are deposited in your spirit that's why we have to be sensitive as believers these ideas are what will produce byour prosperity , so what do you do next .

Friday, 10 March 2023

Many people pray but lots of times they little or no effect .

Prayers are supposed to be result oriented,

In prayers we tap energy from God to help us navigate the work of this world .

In prayers we receive answers in varying dimensions .

But why don't I generate answers when I pray.

 1 faithlessness

2 double mindedness

3 doubts

4 ignorance of the word

5 sin and it's effects

6 the pleasure of this world

And finally

7 impatient

Your prayers have to be word based (scripture oriented prayers,)

Your prayers have to be Jesus centric.

Be calm in prayers remember He

said when you pray go into your inner chamber lock yourself and pray for He who sees in secret will reward you openly

 Deuteronomy  28:12

The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.

When we look at the promises of God, sometimes we feel these things are too good to be real, and when we look at our lives it doesn't measure up to what we have been promised.

Most times we want God's blessing but our hands are empty, for God to bless you then you must present something to God, inform of business, job, career and any thing you do.

We are in a world that want so much but offer so little, what are you doing?

 What is your job?

What is your assignment?

Are you busy with something?

Are you just there idle waiting for the moving of the waters?

A lot have been frustrated because they serve God in idleness without a having a channel through which they can connect to God's blessings

Deut 30:9 says, “Then the LORD your God will make you most prosperous in all the work of your hands and in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your land. The LORD will again delight in you and make you prosperous, just as he delighted in your ancestors,”

God is interested in what you do, come to Him with your work and see how your life will change

Friday, 17 June 2022

Life is a function of many decisions either right or wrong, the direction with which your life is heading is a function of the numerous decisions you have made.

Not making a decision is also a decision there is no body on earth who's life is not full of decisions.

Each day questions like

what do I do?

How can I do it?

When can I do it?

If I do it will it work?

Should I stay or should I leave?

Why am I like this what can I do to change my life.

The answer to life questions is not found in any man or any religion.

The answer is Jesus.

Yes Jesus.

He knows your past will help you decide your present and guide you into your future.

Before you where formed  he  knew you and planned out what you will become

Jeremiah 1 vs 5

You can only become the best of you if you follow the one who knows the way and the path of your life, if you follow Jesus you can never get lost

John 14:6 I am the way the truth and the life.

Accepting Jesus is your life best decision the rest will fall in place as you follow.

Indeed there is hope for a tree. If it’s cut down and still sprouting and its shoots don’t fail, if its roots age in the ground and its stump dies in the dust, at the scent of water, it will bud and produce sprouts like a plant.” — Job 14:7-9

The Good News: Even when life knocks you down and you’re feeling small, there is still hope to be found.

many times we go through a lot of things not knowing what awaits us not sure of what is happening, but we keep wondering why we go through what we experience

So many have lost their faith, some have given up on God, some think that God has forgotten them.

But I want to remind you that there is hope for you. There is a way out for you no matter how far your days may look. Remember that joy will always come in the morning.

Sing praises to the Lord, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name. For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning. Psalm 30:5

Don't ever let your heart and desire be on men because the trust in men will always leave u in pain.

Have you been frustrated have you been laughed at don't worry your joyous morning is coming?

Have you been delayed and denied don't give up just yet?

Those who fail amid battle have small strength.

Don't lose on both sides go through all these things only for you to give up at the end, no dear never

  • Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Do not despise the days of small beginnings.
Don't give up, don't give in , keep pushing.

Zechariah  4:10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth

That small can and will become great if you keep going .

Even though you start small you will not remain small as you remain faithful to the process and path God have set before you. You will grow, learn, and develop as the Lord continue to guide and instruct you day after day.

Though you may feel weak and incompetent in the beginning, do not be discouraged, for you will be delighted and amazed as you see the work you will accomplish together with the lord  over the course of time.

Continue to open your heart to the subtleties of my spirit and do not allow your heart to grow cold.

Do not be downcast, nor assess your present situation as if it is permanent and will never change. God is moving you, guiding, growing, and even pruning you, to bring you past today, into the fullness and maturity of tomorrow

Though you will encounter challenges at times, you will enjoy the process. Though it will be costly at times, in many different ways, the reward waiting for you will far surpass your expense and expectations.

Though difficult at times, do not lose heart, and do not discount the place from where you have started. Though small in the beginning, your finish and reward in the lord will be great , so don't give up on your dreams you will be great.....

Some time when we feel like you are alone, I want you to sit and listen to these admonition from your heart.

In the midst of your confusion and heartache I am with you even still. Though you feel you have been at this very same place before, do not discount it, discard it, or presume it is for nothing.

Though it is uncomfortable, it is working for your good. Though you would prefer to avoid it, know I am working things quickly on your behalf.

Come to me and allow my heart to encourage you. Allow me to grant you my perspective so you will no longer see things from your limited point of view.

From my eyes you will see hope; from my heart you will feel courage; from my mind you will receive my plan. And in all these things you will continue to walk closer to me than in days past.

  Psalm 34:17-20, 1 Peter 5:7, 2 Corinthians 1:6, Romans 15:13

Today does not equal yesterday. Even though in many ways today seems the same, know it is very different.

There are many things transpiring within you, and within your circumstances, that are very different than in your past.

Even though you feel tired, and have encountered this same place many times before, let me assure you today is not the same.

So do not be downcast or lose hope. Do not look at the past as if it will repeat again today, for I am bringing you past yesterday.

I am setting your feet on solid ground, picking you up out of the miry clay.

  Proverbs 27:1, Matthew 6:33-34, Psalm 42:11, Romans 12:12, Psalm 40:2

Your tomorrow is greater God bless you.

In life we go through many phases and many trials and we sometimes think God has forgotten us or we are in the darkness of our life, but in the silence of the there are voices, there are signs. Sometimes you will ask does God really care about my pains, at other times you will ask is God even aware am in this situation. I want to know and understand that the presence of your troubles is not the absence of God. For he said I will never leave you nor forsake you. In John 11:21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. If you read the story of Lazarus carefully you will notice that at the time he died and was buried the family already gave up but they knew if Jesus had been around he would have healed him. But note this anytime God shows up for you it's the right time God is showing up for someone today, in Lazarus death Jesus brought life so no matter your darkness and your pains today light is shining and God is showing up for you. That sickness is coming to an end. In the silence of God trust he can do it for you again

Sunday, 23 August 2020

Though it seems your life is progressing very slowly, understand I have never forgotten nor abandoned you. You are in the very center of my sight, for my plans for you are not the plans you have conceived for yourself. In the times of delays, confusion, even catastrophe, I have also given you my grace to support and sustain you. So when you feel lost, confused, abandoned and neglected, remember the grace already given you, for my grace will be more than sufficient for you. (1)

In remembering my grace your heart will be renewed. You will feel young again, but centered again. You will remember your first love, and your original intent will be revived. All the goals, plans, and dreams you conceived when your love was young and new will come to your remembrance, and hope will be resurrected again. In this place of resurrected hope you will be bold in your heart and dreams, for my spirit will breathe on you, and you will realize who you already are. (2)

The circumstances that seemed so perilous, powerful, and overwhelming will begin to fade away, and you will begin to perceive them as small. You will appreciate their brevity, as the solutions now become accessible to your understanding - not because your circumstances have changed, but because your perspective has changed. My spirit will enable you to see things through my eyes, understanding my plans, and you will no longer put your trust and faith in your enemies, obstacles, or circumstances, but you will put your faith and trust in me. (3)

As you come to know me for who I am, you will forget your enemies. You will forget what opposes you. You will forget how to fear, hesitate, or protect yourself for you will come to know me in a place of security and stability, as you realize my love, protection, and strength for you.

So come to me as you did when you were young, like a little child. Come to me without hesitating. Come to me without worry, fret, or fear, for I will receive and embrace you. I will remind you of the things you have forgotten. I will remind you of what is in store for you, along with all I have already told you and promised you. I will remind you of who I am.

My patience for you will not expire, so do not hesitate to come to me when you need me most, but run to me, My Dearest, and you will remember you have never been forgotten or abandoned. (4)

As you continue to walk the path I have laid before you do not be surprised by the tests, trials, or adversities you encounter along the way. Surely these things are all part of the path, and surely you will encounter them, but understand in these times of hardship and stress you are not alone. I will never leave, forsake, abandon, nor forget you, though it may feel this way from time to time. I have initiated many good things in your life, and I am going to see every last one of them come to their completion.

 1 Peter 4:12, Romans 5:3-5, Hebrews 13:5, Philippians 1:6

In your times of adversity understand you will grow. Areas of weakness, deception, and immaturity will be exposed, and you will have the opportunity to make changes, and you will grow because of it. While these lessons will not be comfortable for you, these valuable lessons will serve you if you will embrace them. They will be turned around for your good, to serve you in the long term, if you continue to endure and embrace their value and implement what you learn.

2 Peter 3:18, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Romans 8:28, James 1:12, 1 Corinthians 10:13, Galatians 6:9

These things are not meant for your harm, but for your growth and development, for it is in these things you will learn to overcome. You will learn your limits. You will perfect your skills. You will acquire gratitude. You will enhance appreciation. Through all of these things you will grow and be transformed more and more into the image of my son.

So in your times of need, shame, or failure reach out to me, for I am near you even now, and I will hear you. I will encourage you. I will sustain you. I will renew your hope, perspective, and joy even in the middle of great calamity, persecution, and resistance. My joy is not based on circumstances, but by my spirit, and I will commune with you even in your darkest hour for my love for you has no bounds, and has no limits.

Hebrews 4:16, Romans 15:13, Galatians 5:22, 1 John 1:3, Ephesians 3:19

Friday, 29 May 2020

Though there will be darkness, joy will come in the morning. Though there will be hard and difficult times, they will not last forever but will pass in time. These difficult and trying times will not be worth comparing to the glory that will be revealed in and through you as you are continually changed and transformed little by little, day by day.
 (1)

Though there is discomfort, and even pain, there is also an awakening and birthing happening within you to set you free from limits of the past, and enable you to walk in new levels of maturity, competency, activity, and leadership in all the things I have called you to pursue.

Though there will be times of confusion, I will guide you through them. These difficult and confusing times may last longer than you want, longer than you think they should, but nevertheless I will guide you through them, and they will not continue forever. I am the author and perfecter of your faith, life, path, and destiny in me, and none of these things can be changed or swayed, for I have set them in motion, and they will surely be accomplished at the time I have scheduled them to be completed
. (2)

While you are required to persevere day after day, year after year, know I have the end in mind, and am working all things out for your good, in your time of blessing soon to come. Let me encourage you today to walk by faith, not by sight. Continue to put one foot in front of the other as you move forward in the direction I have called you to. Though you will not always know or understand everything fully, know and trust I am guiding and shepherding you to the place I have for you, because this is my desire, and this is my will for you and for your life. (3)

(1) Psalm 30:5, 2 Corinthians 4:17, 2 Corinthians 3:18
(2) Psalm 5:8, Psalm 32:8, Hebrews 12:2, Habakkuk 2:3
(3) Romans 8:28, 2 Corinthians 5:7, Proverbs 16:9, John 10:11

There is so much freedom in me. There is so much liberty in me and in the pursuit of what I have for you. At times your natural mind does not comprehend my ways, or my plans, or my timing, and so you see me and my ways, as limiting you, hindering you, or holding you back. But this perspective is not true for your full potential and capacity, together with the fullness of your desires, will only be satisfied and found in me.
 (1)

It is in union with me you, in harmony with my plans, in alignment and obedience with my ways and timing, you will be fully satisfied in every way. There is no source of true, lasting satisfaction apart from me, outside of me, or without me. I have come to give you life, to bring you a new way of life, and to do so abundantly.

Though you misunderstand my ways and see them as limiting, you will find as you allow yourself to receive my leadership that nothing could be further from the truth. My ways will bless you, not harm you. My ways will cause you to prosper, not to suffer. My ways will spawn abundant life, not create a meager existence. My ways will honor you, not exploit you. My ways will deliver you into freedom, not shackle you in chains.
 (2)

So open your heart to trust me, my ways, and my timing, for as you receive my leadership and follow all I have for you, you will experience more joy, freedom, and bliss than you have in days past, and even more than you ever thought possible. These are my plans for you, to see you flourish and truly prosper, and see you walk, abide, and possess your success.
 (3)

I am that loving father, wanting the best for my children, willing to give you the very most and the very best. As you embrace this truth and abide in this reality you will come to know and experience the fullness of all the freedom I have for you.

Sunday, 12 January 2020

I have kissed you with the sweetness of my acceptance. I have embraced you with the sweetness of my of approval. I have showered my affections upon you time and time again, and it is my great pleasure to continually do so, for I have reconciled all this world so nothing will ever separate us.

I know in your hurt and confusion you make your mistakes, but let me assure you that each and every one of your mistakes has already been accounted for and has already been overcome. For what good would my sacrifice have been if you could undo the reconciliation I prepared for you? How small would the reconciliation be if you were able to undo it? So do not fret, and do not worry, but trust and know I have all things accounted for. I have already made provision, for my reconciliation is beyond extravagant.

There has been no small price paid, for you are my jewel, The One I Adore. I have poured out my great love to you again and again, and have done so in immeasurable, unfathomable ways. So do not worry that your weakness, or your mistakes, or your humanity will somehow consume or overturn the redemption and reconciliation I have provided you.

Be confident in who I am. Be confident in what I have given you. Be confident in what I have made available to you. Be bold, and take action, and allow the confidence of my spirit to reveal little details to you the way your heart desires. You stand in the center of my attention. You stand in the center of my favor. So do not consider yourself a beggar but understand you are my most precious child. Surely if you ask for bread I will not give you a stone.

I know you are but small, and I know you are but weak. I will renew you again and again for I have already overcome all these things so you may walk in the victory I have planned for you. Over the course of time you will come to know, you will come to see, and you will come to realize the many layers of revelation and understanding I have for you. But for today simply accept my love and accept my will, and move with courage and confidence in the direction of my leading, for I have already made a way for you, though you do not fully understand or perceive it.

LITTLE FOXES
Song of Solomon 2:15 "Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards, our vineyards that are in bloom."

The vine is a very special plant in Israel because it requires a lot of work in other to cultivate it. Before cultivation, the land must be tilled, stones has to be removed, wall and watch tower will be built, a vine press and a store for storage of the fruit, all these must be put in place before thinking of cultivating the crop.
When one invest what he has to plant a vine, he expect a return of his investment. So every necessary measure must be put in place, in other that nothing affect the expected harvest. Foxes are conciderd a threat to the vine because it eat up the grape before it matures. In the Old Testament, foxes are mentioned in

Judges 15 . Samson ties torches to 300 foxes and releases them to destroy the grain fields of the Philistines.

In Nehemiah 4:3 , the evil Tobiah mocks the rebuilding of Jerusalem’s wall, saying, “What they are building—even a fox climbing up on it would break down their wall of stones!”. So I will not be wrong if I say that the little foxes are destroyers and because of there size it will be difficult to control them and for them not to be allowed a strong wall is required and the watchmen must be on alert.

The painful thing about this foxes is that they eat the vine when it start to bloom ( when it start producing greenish flower clusters called bud) the danger is that if the fox eats the bud, the vine will continue to grow but will not produce any fruit. People will see it growing with beautiful leaves and stem, but no fruit.
Just as the farmer guide his field against the little foxes, so we also are expected to guide our hearts, and lives against the foxes of our days, they come in form of sin, (

Galatians 5:19-21) wrong imaginations, Low self-esteem, friends etc whose mission is to kill your dream. People look at you from the outside, they see a promising youth, a handsome and beautiful individual but from the inside there is no fruit to back what they saw.
I pray for you today, may the Lord open your eyes to see those little foxes in your life, give you the strength to guide yourself against them in Jesus name....
I decree that every foxes sent to destroy your life and destiny be destroyed in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen

         SINGING PRAISE WITH UNDERSTANDING:

(Psalm 47:7) "For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding"..
Singing praises to God is not just for the sake of dancing in church because when we praise without understanding what we are doing is making noise. It is normal for someone to praise and thank God when something great happen in his/her life but it takes a man of faith to praise God when he has nothing. in joshua 6 the people of Israel did not wait until that wall of Jericho to falls before they praise God but they praised God for it to fall. Let look at the secret of praises:

1. When you praise God, he step into the situation just like  in act16:25; in prison Paul and silas prayed, nothing happened but when the switch into praises God step in.

2. Praise are the weapons of war. (2Chro 20:22)."And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir,....." the people went into the battle not with sword and arrows but with praises  and the enemy destroyed themselves

3. God identifies himself with praise. Do you know why Jesus is called the lion from the tribe of Judah Gen29:35 because the meaning of Judah is praise.

4. Anointing flow when praise and worship is activated 2kings3:15.
praising God for who He is, giving Him thanks for the things He has done and  the once He will do.
Child of God, understand  the power of praise and thanksgiving and applying it in our lives on a daily bases, that is, living a victorious life.
Be a thankful Christian not a doubtful Christian.
Praise the Lord. So in conclusion just praise

Saturday, 1 June 2019

This is just for you who is thinking that his life has nothing more to offer. You may have tried many
thing and come to a conclusion that there is nothing more that you can offer or do to make things better or get the best out of life.

Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

I will encourage you never to give up on yourself and that dream you had long ago . The road may look like a dead end but keep going keep pushing you can walk on that water, that water can become a dry land. When moses and the children of Isreal came to the red sea there seem to be no way forward but God told Moses to keep going forward .

Exodus 14:15 And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:

I will advise you to keep going forward instead of backward there is nothing in your past or at your back you haven't seen before but there is so much at your front and in your future you haven't experienced just yet and you can only get there when you keep going forward.

1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

There is a well of potential in you , you are not ordinary or normal  You are not empty and finished. Child of God you have the very life of God in you and many more you can do. You have the spirit of God dwelling in you and you can do it again. If you tried before try again. I see you becoming everthing and more you ever thought about.

There is more to you than you can imagine never let the frustration and pains of today cause you to lose your self , there is more in you than you have ever seen......

Say to yourself there is more in me am not just going to end like this, I am getting the more out.

DON'T QUIT
Job  14:7 "For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease."

Job  14:14 "If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come."

This statement is coming from a man who has been stretch from border to border by troubles, and in the midst of all his troubles job still find a way of giving himself hope of a change to come not from his friends but from the Almighty.
A tree that is cut down has hope because as long as it's root is still connected to the ground it will sprang again but when a man dies, there might be hope of him to wake after a day or two but after three days the owner of the corpse would have to bury their dead. Death here is a representation of a kind of a hopeless situation.
Job knew that nothing last forever, he believed that God will always vindicate his people and at the end job saw the change he waited for.
If we want to see ours we must practice the following.
1. We must seek for our change we desire, and think much of it.
2.  We must desire that our change would come, as those that long to be with Christ.
3. We must be willing to tarry until it does come, as those that believe God's time to be the best.
4. We must be determined to receive what we sought for, desired and waited for to come.
Child of God, I don't want to know how hopeless that your situation is, the only thing I know is that, the same God that turned the situation of job around is still alive and yours will not make him fail for the first time, your change is on the way, not even the devil can stop it from coming to pass.
I pray for you today that every aspect of your life that you have been praying and believing God for a change, the door is opened, receive your change in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen

WHEN GOD DISAPPOINTS
At one point or the other in our lives God seems to disappoint us; maybe you trusted God was going to heal your loved one but the person died in the sickness, you trusted Him for provision but He didn’t show up.
You acted and confessed His word as regards the situation, prayed, believed, appreciated Him in advance over the situation, you did all you know the bible says you should do, even gave testimony in advance, yet you didn’t get the result you wanted;
Because we are religious people what many of us do is to explain such situation away with statement like:
“all things work together for good”, “God must be up to something”, “God works in mysterious ways”, and many statements in that line
When we handle every situation that way, it simply means we are practising religion with God, not relationship and what this does is these disappointments begin to build a belief system in us which places limit on God.
These experiences form strongholds in us so much at some point in our subconscious, we begin to lose confidence in God’s ability to do certain things or have made available things for us
Although, as religious folks, we still have a mental accent of God’s ability to perform but we don’t believe in our heart that He can do or have done those things for us.
So, when you feel God disappointed you over a situation, rather than just explain it away with religious statements, you should approach Him and tell Him how disappointed you are in Him and allow Him to explain Himself;
He is God the Father, not Godfather
This is what Paul was describing in Phil.4:6: where He says
“Don’t WORRY about anything but PRAY about everything”
The word “worry” connotes confidence in one’s ability alone to handle a matter without help from anyone. Which is a sign of pride
The word “pray” isn’t talking about the religious beliefs on prayer but the word speaks more on relationship... which is:
“communicate with God about everything”, “have a dialogue with God about everything”, “have a heart – to – heart talk with God about everything”, the word in our contemporary world now will be “Have a personal intimate WhatsApp chat with God about everything, using every available emoji to explain yourself”
Which means you don’t just tell Him about a situation, tell Him how you feel about it, tell Him how disappointed you are in Him,
don’t just walk away from the conversation or go offline after you noticed your chats have been double marked and blue colour, but rather give Him room to explain Himself, read His replies also, hear Him out also and allow Him to apologise to you over that matter.
What I’ve realised is when you can approach God this way, the things He will tell you will be so comforting, (remember He is your Comforter and Peace), you will experience Joy again and those things will provide a way of escape from the situation
This kind of approach builds more trust in Him and every relationship thrives on trust.
I hope this blessed you?
