Blessed already

We are concluding this series of the blessing with this episode, blessed already.i believe this series has been a blessing to .
I have seen believers crying, fighting, scratching to get the blessing. We as believers are blessed already with everything that life demands, both physically and spiritually. You are not trying to get blessed, you are not trying to the blessing. But know and be conscious that you are already blessed. You are not the cursed trying to get blessed no, you are the blessed discovering your possessions in christ.when you are born again you are born into the blessing.all god has become yours.


Ephesians  1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

When you look closely at the above scripture you notice that our blessings are in the past tense in christ. Who hath blessed us with all. Not with some blessings but with all. God is not going to bless you but God has blessed you. When we pray we call for what is ours already. We are not asking for what is not already provided. All things are ready made available for the believer. Have the mind set of a blessed person. Knowledge is key to possessing all things . when ever we pray we should be aware of the tenses we use, as a believer everything has been made ready for your possessions. Stop saying lord bless me when you are blessed already but rather say am blessed with all blessings. Learn to lay claim to all that has been made available for you. Move from the realm of wishing to have to the realm of already have. There is this question in our hearts if am blessed already why am I not seeing and manifesting these blessings? One major reason is ignorance. What you do not know you cannot enjoy it. When you don't know that you have you will still be in the dark. Some persons know and yet they don't enjoy what they know. You have to let your knowledge of God's word go beyond head knowledge let it come from the spirit within, once you are able to grasp the reality of what christ has made available for you then you will start enjoying in all reality.

Ephesians  1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

When your understanding is enlightened you become an inheritor, and for you to know what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the believer are, your understanding must come alive, for you to enjoy what is yours you must know it's yours already. Lots of Christian are cheated out of their possession because of lack of knowledge. Never you see yourself as a beggar someone seeking for help but see yourself as the giver someone who is blessed.before god made Adam provisions and all that he needed was ready.before we are born into christ all that we will ever need have been made available for us.in christ we have it. we find all we will ever need it wasn't at the point of need that what we want was created no ,it was already made available in christ.as far as you can see you can posses .God blesss you.

Blessed not cursed

Still on the series the blessing. I want you to understand this truth that once you are in christ you are blessed with the Abrahamic blessing. Our lives becomes the lives of the blessed and this blessing is not performance based. It's sorely the work of his grace. We as Christians are the partakers of his divine nature. We are Co-heir with christ. With our new birth we become inheritors of the promise. The spirit lives and dwell in us.we are called into this life of the blessed and not curse.

Galatians 3:8-9
[8]The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, "All the nations will be blessed in you."
[9]So then those who are of faith are blessed with Abraham, the believer.

We are of faith and we are justified by faith we now have access to the father, a union lost in the beginning is restored and we now enjoy acceptance in this God's family. A man cannot work in the blessing and curse at same time. No no no. It's either you are blessed or you are cursed and when you are blessed you cannot be cursed. Even if you are from a cursed family a cursed lineage once you get born again you are translated from the curse to the blessed.

Genesis 12
[3]And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be bless

This above scripture is translated I will curse those who try to curse you. Making you see that people may try to speak words of curse over you but be assured that God have you covered . A curse is a negative word spoken over a life to cause the life of a person to go astray. When Adam sinned God did not curse Adam, why? Because he was already blessed. You cannot walk in both the blessing and the curse. God cursed the earth not the man even when he has done wrong. Man was never cursed directly like the serpent was cursed. If God did not curse his creation who rebel no devil can curse the son who is in christ. Be more conscious of the blessings more than anything negative around you. Things may not be great but always be conscious of who you are and what you carry as a believer. You are a blessed child of a great God never allow your situation make you think you are cursed.

Genesis 3
[17]Then to Adam He said, "Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat from it'; Cursed is the ground because of you; In toil you will eat of it All the days of your life.

In numbers 23 balam and balak conspired to curse Isreal without any offense, because he knew the only way he can get victory over them was to firstly alter the lives of the people spiritually. You may not have offended a person but they just hate you and want to see you fail. 21 altars where raised to curse a blessed people but it never worked. Isreal never knew they weren't even praying and yet they couldn't be cursed. Why because of the blessing. Surely challenges will rise, surely people will speak evil but be rest assured the man in christ cannot be be cursed.


Numbers  23:8
 How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the LORD hath not defied?  23:20 Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.  23:25 And Balak said unto Balaam, Neither curse them at all, nor bless them at all.

The Abraham's blessing

We are continuing the series of the blessing today looking at the abrahamic blessings. This blessing is universal and eternal. This blessing include the promise of a seed. This seed is what will cause the blessing promised to be universal. God's idea when he promised and blessed Abraham,was that all the nations of the earth will be blessed by him that he would become the father if many nations because of the seed that would be born to him. At a point in the history of the Jews this blessing became limited to them alone. How? When the law came through Moses it limited the flow of the blessing to just a people the children of Israel. Why? Just to protect the lineage of the promised seed. In whom all the earth will be blessed.

Genesis 12:2-3
[2]And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing;
[3]And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed."

What comes to your mind when you hear of Abraham blessing? There is no curse in the life of a man who carries this blessing. You are not just a carrier you also become a blessing a channel a vessel with which lives are touched and transformed. This blessing includes the possessions of the riches of the earth. This blessing commands divine protection, commands increase in business and what so ever you do.

Genesis 14
[19]He blessed him and said, "Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth;

This blessing is not just possessions of riches it includes fruitfulness in all area. Recognition and acceptance in all areas making you a wonder to your world. This blessing makes you victorious in the battles of life, having this consciousness that any battle you enter you will come out victorious.

Genesis 17:2-7
[2]"I will establish My covenant between Me and you, And I will multiply you exceedingly."
[3]Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying,
[4]"As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, And you will be the father of a multitude of nations.
[5]"No longer shall your name be called Abram, But your name shall be Abraham; For I have made you the father of a multitude of nations.
[6]I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make nations of you, and kings will come forth from you.
[7]I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your descendants after you.

But know this that the seed in whom all theses blessing are manifested to the world is not Issac. But Jesus. The totality of Abraham blessing is a person. The physical material blessings  we mention above are byproduct of the blessing. Jesus is the blessing of Abraham. He is the promised seed. He is the reason that the love of God reaches  the end of the world. He is the end to the limitations, no more Jews nor gentiles but a new creation in Chris. When you have Jesus you are now a partaker of the Abraham's blessing. You become a blessing. The promise of the spirit now become a reality in you.

Galatians 3:14,16
[14]in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Intent of the Law
[16]Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say, "And to seeds," as referring to many, but rather to one, "And to your seed," that is, Christ.

This scripure above shows us how we are blessed with Abraham blessing. As a Christian the promise of the spirit is now manifested in us we are not just blessed we are carriers of the blessing. The gospel is the message we carry to the world reaching them and touching lives making this blessing a reality. When ever you talk the gospel just know you are spreading the blessing. The increase of his kingdom knows no bound. So talk the blessing act the blessing live the blessing and you will enjoy life without limitation. I call you blessed.

The word of the blessing

In our previous post we were made to understand what the blessing was that it was not physical material things but that the blessing has the ability to produce the material and physical things we all desire . that the blessing is an empowerment to success, the blessing are words spoken over you to push you to excel.
The blessing works and functions by the spoken word. Remember in Genesis chapter 1 when God has finished all his creation He then made man. Placed him in an already made garden with all the provisions he would ever need. Despite all the provisions God has provided Adam needed the blessing to enjoy the provisions. What God has planned out for man is bigger than the garden and for man to grasp all the pictures of that plan he needed spiritual empowerment, God never said he have enough so no need to be empowered but no God blessed them.  then God blessed them and God SAID. Be fruitful,  multiply and replenish the earth this was the word that made man different. Adam was blessed not because he was in the garden but because God spoke words over his life and this words are the blue print of the human race. For you to succeed there had to be an empowerment. Which are words. Words are spiritual the life of a man are in the direction of the words he speaks and the words spoken over him. With your words you can gain victory in life by constantly declaring the blessing over your life never allowing the current situation of your life make you speak evil.

Proverbs  18:4 The words of a man's mouth are as deep waters, and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook.
18:20 A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.

In this above scripture we see how a man's life are filled with satisfaction because of the words of his mouth. Let me ask you a question whose voice is speaking over your life? It's the voice that you hear that leads you when you hear the right word and the right voice your life move in the direction of such words. Sometimes in life all you need to excel is the word spoken over you and you keep repeating them to yourself. At one point in the life of a Christian we have to constantly move and make progress with the word of his blessings written in the scripture. These word call you blessed the word call you anointed the words calls you favoured this word call you prosperous. Let these word be in you mouth and in your heart and you will come out on top.

Romans  10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

The word is as close as in you mouth and in your heart and its a word of faith this is what saves a man in life. Salvation from Satan's dominion to the place of authority over Satan and all his works. So what should I do? No matter what you are going through in life today believe in your heart that you are blessed your family is blessed your marriage is blessed your business is blessed your children are blessed anything you do is blessed and then you confess it with your mouth on a daily basis regularly. Let the word leave your heart and come to your mouth and you will see the physical manifesting of the blessing.

Lastly when Jacob left his father's house he didn't leave with possessions of goods but when he returned he returned with possessions. He left his father's house a youth he returned as a nation. The word of the blessing Isaac pronounced on Jacob was all that he needed to become great from Jacob he became Isreal. He left a single man he returned with family and possessions. It was the blessing that made him rich, it was the blessing that made his found favour its all in the blessing.


Genesis  28:3 And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people;
 28:4 And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, which God gave unto Abraham.

Jacob left and he saw struggles but he succeeded the fact that you are struggling doesn't mean you are not blessed. The word of the blessing will surely speak and when it does it put an end to struggle. So hold onto the word spoken over you. The word you have seen from scripture that speaks the blessing hold on to it. The word that the minister of God has spoken over you hold on to it. Keep the word in your heart and in your mouth. Understanding the blessing

One of the most misunderstood concepts in our Christian faith, is the issue of the blessing, when ever the word blessing is mentioned what runs through the mind of the average believer is physical material things. We have to understand that the blessings are not things, nor riches nor material possessions. We don't judge a man by the possessions he has or the riches available to him. A man can be rich and yet cursed a man can be rich and lost a man can be rich and still oppressed by spiritual demonic forces. Look at this very popular scripture and understand the concept of the blessings.

Proverbs 10
[22]It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich, And He adds no sorrow to it.

Take note it's the blessing that makes a man rich not the other way around. It's not the riches that makes a man blessed.

Now what is the blessing?

The blessing is an empowerment from God in the life of His sons to succeed all round in life.
The blessing is an all round empowerment to succeed in all sphere of life that you found your self as a believer. The blessing means success in your health, your family, your marriage, your business and your job, your finance, success in your Christian life, success in your mind and eventually all that you do.

Now that we have seen that the blessings are not things but an empowerment, how does the blessing work. Let's trace our root to Genesis when the lord created mankind.

Genesis 1:27-28
[27]God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
[28]God blessed them; and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth."

When man was created the first thing that God did was to bless them. Remember all that man needed was already created in the garden but for man to enjoy the things he needed to carry the blessing. How did God do it? The scripture says God blessed them SAYING. Now this is where we all got it wrong thinking until we get material possessions we are not blessed. The blessings are spoken words with divine backing which orders the path of your life. For God to bless mankind He spoke He said, until words of blessing are spoken over you by the lord you will struggle. Blessings are words so also are curses. But we as believer we have the word of the blessing spoken over us already. So a man is blessed or cursed by spoken words. When an anointed minister stands over you and declare over your life he is enforcing divine empowerment to succed on you. So never take the words of your minister lightly.

2 Chronicles 20
[20]They rose early in the morning and went out to the wilderness of Tekoa; and when they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, "Listen to me, O Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, put your trust in the Lord your God and you will be established. Put your trust in His prophets and succeed."

Have you ever stop to wonder what Jacob got from Isaac his father when he was blessed? Did his father willed all his possessions to him? No, but he left with the spoken word of the blessings and he succeeded. We will see something about this in our next writing which is titled the word of his blessings.
Now let's carry the consciousness of a blessed man anywhere we find ourselves. Because we now know that the word of God has spoken blessings over us. We succeed as much as the blessing we carry and we are aware off. Live your life on a daily basis knowing you are a blessing and that you are blessed. Never allow the misfortune of life make you walk in life like a cursed man. Things may not be  what you want now but understand that it will get better because you carry the blessing. After Jacob was blessed by Isaac he suffered many set backs in the land where he was but was never discouraged and once the blessings started manifesting he became an unstoppable force. It may tarry but it will surely speak. Be more conscious of the blessings you carry as a believer never allow the trials of life make you feel you are cursed. Any thing you do have the mindset that it will succeed because you have been empowered for it. In as much as the blessings are not things or material possessions we should also understand that the blessing has the ability to produce the material possessions and things that life needs. The blessing is the producers of riches and material possessions it also supply the good health to enjoy these things abundantly. Let's stop looking for the product but go for the source of the product. God is our source of all round blessings. Remember to carry the blessing you must be in christ, for christ is the total package of all of God's blessings.

How to follow divine instructions

The instructions you obey determines the answers you get. As believers all our lives depends upon divine instruction. When we get a divine leading from the lord what should be our response? 

From all scriptures it has been known that the lord will not show you all the pictures of the journey ahead, you may not get all the details that entails your first instruction but what you do is to OBEY. In the natural the situation you are venturing into may look like a dead end but keep going. Your next step is in following the first instruction. God said to Abraham leave your father's house to a land that I will show you and He obeyed started a journey to a place he doesn't know to a future he don't understand but he kept going. After obeying trust the lord who has called you. You can only follow the voice you trust. When you trust God you can go any length any depth for him because you trust him. 

Genesis  12:1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:  12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:  

12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

  12:4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

When our attention is on the lord we walk in perfection of life. The voice you obey is the voice that direct your life the voice you trust is the voice you turn to in time of difficulties, never you allow fears to be the reason you refused to move. Yes there are fear of the unknown but you have the known already spoken follow it, obey it and trust in the one who has called you and you later days shall be greater than the former. All it takes is to say yes and follow the leading. 

Proverbs  3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 

 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

We are in a world that is fast changing more than any other time in history, what you have today may be outdated or upgraded the next day making you want to go for the next, we are in uncertain times this is the more reason why we need instructions for the life we are living. The above scripture says in all our ways,  in all we do,  in all our endeavors let's acknowledge him and our paths in life will be directed, the lord knows the way more than any expert more than any man I rather trust in His leading than the leading of any man. 

Luke  5:4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. 

 5:5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. 

 5:6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

Peter was a professional in finishing he knew the season for a better catch on this day they have trusted their expertise came at night fished all night long but caught nothing. In life all effort may be fruitless when there are no divine backing. The lord said let down your net, he complained a little but he did let it down. And his harvest was a net breaking, boat sinking catch of fishes. What was the difference between nothing and plenty? Instruction!!! Not just instructions but obeyed instructions they could have said no and remain empty but they obeyed and they got a miracle. So my dear reader what instructions are you struggling with I just want to tell you simply obey that's all that is required of you. God bless you.

In the capacity of God

Anything that God does or anything that God is doing, anything that God will do. It's all done within His capacity. God doesn't do anything in a man's capacity but in His own capacity and ability.
God never does anything outside his capacity when God decide to bless a man he blesses him according to His own capacity.
When God reaches out to his children He wants them to be an extension of what He is doing in their lives. What God does is always in his capacity the more than enough the overflowing the abundance. When God visited the children of Israel in the wilderness He supplied them with enough mannah that they would have no lack that they would have no hunger. God doesn't bless you with just the enough for yourself but add the extra so as to make you a channel of his divine capabilities.

When Jesus meet Peter after all his all night toiling and catching no fish Jesus gave Peter a net breaking ship sinking catch of fishes that he had to call for help from another boat to help him receive this blessing. It's not about skills nor hardwork but about encountering the divine capacity of God which can give you more and more than you can take alone.

2 Kings 4
[6]When the vessels were full, she said to her son, "Bring me another vessel." And he said to her, "There is not one vessel more." And the oil stopped.

This above scripture shows us  what happens when God blesses, which is always in  His capacity. The prophet told the widow to get as much vessels as she could get and fill them with the little oil she had. She did exactly what she was told, if  she have empty  vessels the oil kept on flowing,filling her empty jars, if she had a storage that can take a million gallons it would be filled. Just keep pouring, just keep bringing the empty jars. The problem wasn't the capacity of God but her capacity to receive. Take note the oil stopped when there was no more empty vessels  to fill. God will only stop at the point your capacity is exceeded. So many times God wants to do more but we are only able to receive a little because our capacity to receive is small. I want you to enlarge your capacity to receive from the very large amount of blessings available to you from God. Never limit God in your thinking never limit God with your level of mind. God will always bless us more.  are we ready for the more?  The oil stopped as her capacity to receive finished.

Ephesians 3
[20]Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,

God is able and willing to do more give you more, bless you, lift you beyond your certificate and qualifications. We ask as we are capable of, according to our capabilities and capacity but God is able to give you more. That which you think  God can do,He can do much more. But we are only able to receive according to the power that works within you. The more of God you have the more of his capacity works for you. The degree of the power at work within you determine the capacity at which you receive. And Jabez pray enlarge my coast. This should be our mindset a bigger room to receive the bigger blessings, in psalms it says my cup over flows. its full to the level of running over reaching out to the people who needs the touch of God we become an extension with  our over flow.

Psalms 23
[5]You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows.

And the lord said this blessing shall come upon, and overtake. This is is idea if God for our lives to have the overflowing blessings to have the overtaking blessing to live in the realm of His capacity not ours. What our efforts, salary, wages and skills cannot produce for us, trust in the ability of God to provide for you according to his own abilities and capacity.


John 10
[10]The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

When God gave man life through His   son Jesus, man received the quality of life that is superior to the life of the fallen man. This life is surplus in quantity and superior in quality. This quality of life ends affliction, sickness, pains, diseases, poverty,  lack and want. It produces the very life of God in us making us kings over the circumstances of life. The quantity of this life reaches far and  wide to who ever believes. So I admonish us to stay in the capacity of God and enlarged your capacity to receive. Let's allow the power at work within us grow because the bigger  the power the bigger our receiving. Let there be room enough to receive.
