GOD IS ALWAYS SPEAKING

God is always speaking!

 A radio station broadcasts 24 hours 7 days a week non stop. A listener will have to tune in to the frequency of this station in order to hear what’s been broadcasted. It is the same with hearing from God. God is always speaking and it is left for us to tune in to listen and receive from Him.
It's God’s good pleasure to communicate with His children. He loves to do it. He loves us. Like spoilt children, we often choose to wander away from God’s awesome presence. This happens when we sin. When we sin, we feel guilty and this causes us to withdraw from fellowshipping with God. We retract back to our own way of life — popular culture, religion, hypocrisy to name a few. During this period, we do not hear again from God. That is when we say that God is far away. The truth is God is never far away. God is immovable, He is unshakeable. “I am God. I do not change”,He said.  malachi 3:6. Like the foot of the cross where we were first saved. The cross does not move, we are the ones who withdraw from it. The light does not move, we are the ones we relocate into darkness in our sinful and unrepentant behaviour
A father can only communicate and have a good time with children. There are others who do not even feel a bit that they are children of the God who created the heavens and the earth.
 God speaks through nature. He speaks through trees, humming birds, the sky, the rain, the structure of things — ants, locusts, termites, the pack of wolves. He speaks through the sloth, the crocodile, the whale, the dolphin, the tortoise, the sequoia tree, the budding flowers. He speaks!
He speaks through us. He speaks through the caption on the tee-shirt of your friend. He speaks through the tract you just got from the preacher on the corner of the street. He speaks through our trials and failures. He speaks through our rejection and heartbreaks. His strength is made perfect in our own weakness. God is always speaking.
The heavens declare the glory of God and skies proclaim the works of his hands. Day after day, they pour forth speech, night after night they reveal knowledge. Although, they have no speech, and they use no human words, yet they speak so loud, their voice is gone out into all the earth and their words to the end of the world. The reality of God is plain enough, open your eyes and there it is. By taking a long and thoughtful look at what God has created, people have always been able to see what their eyes as such can’t see: eternal power, for instance, and the mystery of his divine being.

Not Alone

Deuteronomy  31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

So many times we go through life having many people around us, friends and family both far and near we keep relationships with those who can be of help to us.

But there comes a time in life when all those whom you feel are closest to you are no where to be found. Sometimes the troubles of life and the challenges of life will shows that no one is truly with you. Friends and relatives may abandon you to yourself, this only point to the fact that man will not always be there.

From scripture we see how the man Job was afflicted then his friends who came to comfort him mocked him even his wife gave up on him.

Have you been promised in the past? Have a loved one betrayed your trust? Have you given up on life because it seems you are alone, no one seems to love you. Don't give up just yet. You are not alone.

Take your eyes off any man and focus on the one who truly loves you. The lord has promised to always be there for you. Draw strength from the never failing promises of God for your life.

He is always with you in all things. He said to his disciples I will send you another of the same kind who will always be with you. The holy spirit is our comforter, don't trust in the promises of a person to always be there. Jesus said I will not leave you nor forsake you.
He said I am with you always even to the end of the world. What more can we ask.

Matthew  28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

We are hurt because we look to the comfort of a person but it's time to look only to God and let those who left us in our time of need be forgiven and the peace of God will calm and comfort us.

John  14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Rejoice with heart and soul and with voices.  Give heed to this post Christ Jesus is born, born of a virgin, born without the seed of a man.

We celebrate Jesus on this day knowing a king was born to die that humanity might live again, and come to the knowledge of God with us and God in us.

Jesus' birth ushered in seasons of endless blessings  and joy. His birth brought God among mortal and feeble men. The heralding angels exclaimed "Peace on earth and good will to men". Jesus' birth brought another peace different from what's readily obtained on the earth.

The substitution reaction was kicked off by the birth of this Saviour. He was born in lowly manger so we can occupy lofty mansions. He was born to carry out a transaction for our purchase from the kingdom of darkness. He was born as the highest expression of love.

David Cameron is noted to have said: " Christmas gives us the opportunity to pause and reflect on the important things around us - a time when we can look back on the year that has passed and prepare for the year ahead".

Please in the midst to of drinking, eating, feasting and sharing, reflect soberly on your life and relationship with the master. Don't just celebrate Christmas today and tomorrow alone, let the rest of the days of this year and the days of the new year be lived out as a Christmas day. Honour Christmas in your heart, and try to keep it all the year.

Jesus is God's perfect, indescribable gift. I pray that the perfect and indescribable gift of God the Father would find expression in our lives today and beyond in Jesus name.

ONE BODY

Romans  12:3 For
 I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.  
12:4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:  
12:5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

As Christians we are the body of Christ. We are one body joined together by the spirit, with different calling and gifting for the purpose of edification and growth and for us to help each other and provide a shoulder on which others to lay on.
As one body in christ we are to make sure we don't think ourselves to be more important than the others. Never you carry yourself too highly above other we all need each other.
I need you to grow you need me to grow we are a part of a great body. If we don't help each other we will never live to our full potential. Just like the eyes cannot say it doesn't need the ears and the leg cannot say it doesn't need the hand. We are all important to each other.

We all don't have the same functionality in the body but each member's functions should not be taken for granted. Learn to celebrate your uniqueness and your differences. You can only function according to your gifting.

Never you desire to be someone else in this body of christ and in the process loss your identity. We are member to each other and functions accordingly to make a better life for each other. Help me and let's help each other get better. Keep winning God bless you.

Limitless joy

Psalms  16:11
  Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

We are in a world full of challenges, troubles and trials and a whole lot of persons have lost the ability to be joyful because of what they see and what they hear. Never allow the trouble of life deprive you of your divine identity in Christ.

To be happy is different from to have joy because happiness is based on happenings around. You don't wait for good things to happen to be joyful its bedded deep down in you. Things may not look good but still your joy is intact.
Joy is the inner satisfaction of pleasure and peace that a believer has inside of him or her. This joy is a function of the presence of God within and around the believer. The Holy spirit is the source of our joy. Out of your belly shall flow rivers of living waters. This ever flowing river is in every believer.

Romans  15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

We may have trouble in this world that is guaranteed,  Note this that coming to christ is not an escape  from trouble. We will have trouble and tribulations in this world but the joy we have in the face of trouble is that we have won already before the trouble.

John  16:33  These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

A lot of Christians don't enjoy this joy because they are too conscious of their troubles and forget the truth about who they are.
We have limitless joy because we dwell in his presence always. One of the fruit of the Holy spirit is joy. When you have the Holy spirit you have joy.
Take your eyes of the world and look to your inside to tap from this river of joy. People will be amazed with the way you live because they see trouble around but you see different. When you are supposed to cry they see you smile, this was the joy the early apostles enjoyed that in the face of persecution and death they never complained but carried the gospel to the world not minding their life and the lack they went about the business of the kingdom with joy.

John  15:11  These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

LORD, WHAT SHOULD I DO?"

Most Times,There's a question we ought to almost always ask,
"LORD, WHAT SHOULD I DO?"  
             
His promise to you is.

“I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth.
 These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them” (v. 16 NIV).

 Pay particular attention to the words: “unfamiliar paths”…”darkness”…“rough places.”

 When you’ve sought God’s guidance through the Scriptures, when you’ve tried to listen to the inner promptings of the Holy Spirit, and when you’ve reached for the wisdom of trustworthy people, then you must step out in faith and do what you believe God is calling you to do.

 It’s one thing to ask, “Lord, what should I do?” It’s entirely another thing to ask, “Am I willing to do it once You make it clear?” Try to answer these two questions:

(a) What makes risk so difficult for you? Be honest. For most of us risk and change are uncomfortable, challenging, and even threatening. That’s why the Bible says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5 KJV).

If you’ve been in the habit of leaning on your own understanding, it’s a hard habit to break. Now, God doesn’t say, “Don’t use your understanding”; He says, “Don’t lean on it—lean on Me.”

(b) Are you willing to make a major change in your life—assuming that it’s the Lord’s will? You must answer these two questions. And not until they are answered correctly are you ready to move ahead.

God doesn't show you the whole process of the journey if he says go trust him to lead you in the path of still waters, when God called Abraham he didn't show him all the paths but Abraham went by faith. You may not see it all but move, regardless the unseen path remember our walk is a walk of faith and not of sight. So I Challenge you to make that bold step and see God lead you. It may be unfamiliar but trust God.

How to recieve answers to your prayers

Mark  11:24
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

This is one of the ways to pray effectively and get answers for your prayers. So many times we pray but it seems as if we have no answers. Firstly I want you to know that God is always giving attention to your prayers. We are in a union with the father and he hears us when we pray.
Never you come to a point in your life when you feel that you are too worthless too condemned to get answers to your prayers.

We get answers to prayers not because we have done to much good but because we are dependent on the too much good Jesus has done for us. We pray standing on the finished work of christ knowing he has not condemn us but has made us righteousness, holy, sanctified, purified, and justified to be able to ask God and get answers its all his loving kindness.

The above scripture says that what ever you desire when you pray, so let me ask you, when you pray do you come to God with a desire? When your desire is strong your prayers are well channelled you don't beat around you know what you want and you go for it. A prayer without strong desires may not attract much attention.
Then it's says believe! You cannot get answers without believing in the prayers you are praying. The lord says believe you have received. So receiving comes before having. Some want to have it to believe but the scripture says you received it first then you shall have it. When you pray always believe that as you are praying you are receiving this is what will bring it to the realm of having it in the physical.

Have a right attitude towards your prayers  and have a believing mind don't stay too futuristic about your desires when the scripture assured you that in the place of prayers you have recieved. Never allow what your physical senses tell to dominate what is in your spirit, when you recieve it the spirit rejoice over it then it will manifest in the physical. Don't wait to have before you know you have recieved because receiving comes before having. God bless you.
