IS GRACE A LICENSE TO SIN?

No man needs a license to do evil. The fallen state of man affords him that. Any man who is still a custodian of the Adamic Nature is a Licensed sinner from birth, sin is his nature. Grace is Gods cure for sin. John the baptist, the last prophet of the Old Testament puts it like this, “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” John‬ ‭1:29‬ ‭KJV‬‬
So no man can defeat sin except he beholds and receives this lamb of God who is the embodiment of grace! “And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.” John‬ ‭1:14 KJV When a man receives Jesus who is grace, the coming of Christ into him removes that sinful nature completely and the nature of sonship takes over that man and that man is no longer a sinner but a son of God! “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” John‬ ‭1:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Contrary to the legalist claims, grace is the final cure for sin. When you receive that grace, what Jesus the lamb of God did in his death, burial and resurrection, you experience it, the adoption of sons!

“For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” Romans‬ ‭6:14‬ ‭KJV‬

“Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:” Romans‬ ‭5:20‬ ‭KJV‬.
GRACE CURES SIN. Grace therefore is not a license to sin. Grace is an Empowerment to Reign Over all the things we couldn't be Free from under the Administration of Death (The Law)!!! The Increase of sin cannot make Grace of no effect. It is the increase of the Revelation of Jesus (Grace) that nullifies and makes Sin of no effect. “Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;" ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

What makes men free is the knowledge of the truth, not struggling to behave right, but the knowledge of the PERSON of JESUS Christ as revealed in the scriptures.

“Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭2:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. Why is the truth so Important? "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John‬ ‭8:32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

So What is the Truth?
“For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth (which is truth) came by Jesus Christ.” John‬ ‭1:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John‬ ‭14:6‬ ‭KJV‬
So Grace finds expression in the person of Jesus. The truth is a person. His name is Jesus Christ.
He is Grace Personified!!! Grace is a person living his life through you.

So Jesus is the Truth that makes men free!!! This Freedom is evidenced by the workings of the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus whose power creates within you the desire to do His gracious will and also brings about the accomplishment of the desire. “Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” Philippians‬ ‭2:12-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We only stumble when we shift our gaze from  Jesus (The Author and Finisher of our Faith).
So a believer that continues in the actions of sin is living in denial. He is suffering from Identity crisis and double mindedness because he lacks a clear revelation of Jesus. Hence he has mental agitation.

He has forgotten who he is & how he looks.‬‬ "He is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was." James‬ ‭1:23‬ ‭KJV
“...because as he is, so are we in this world.”

When a believer is struggling with falling he is in identity crisis. He needs a constant revelation of Jesus (GRACE) because that is what can unveil his true identity. “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭KJV‬

Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of ETERNAL SALVATION unto all them that obey him;

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, HATH EVERLASTING LIFE, AND SHALL NOT COME INTO CONDEMNATION; BUT IS PASSED FROM DEATH UNTO LIFE.

We are saved once for all. Our salvation is not based upon our works or ourselves; instead, it is based upon the Lord and His work. We ourselves and our works can change and are not reliable, but the Lord and His work will not change and are eternally reliable.

We cannot obtain the Lord’s salvation by our works, and we cannot lose the Lord’s salvation by our works. The Lord did not save us because of things that we have done, and He will not take away His salvation because of things that we will do.

Since our salvation is apart from works, our works have absolutely no effect on our salvation. The Lord’s gift of salvation issues from the grace of His unchanging love and is based upon His eternal work of redemption which He accomplished.

Romans 4:3 For what saith the scripture?  Abraham believed God, and it was counted  unto him for righteousness. 4 Now to him  that worketh is the reward not reckoned of  grace, but of debt. 5 BUT TO HIM THAT  WORKETH NOT, BUT BELIEVETH ON HIM THAT  JUSTIFIETH THE UNGODLY, his faith is counted  for righteousness. 6 Even as David also  describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness  without works, 7 Saying, Blessed  are they  whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose  sins are covered. 8 Blessed  is the man to  whom the Lord WILL NOT IMPUTE SIN.

When we talk about eternal salvation we are talking about the finished work of Christ on our behalf. This work was not done in half its a perfect work done for the salvation and redemption of man. It's not something we worked to get its something God in Christ worked to get for us. This is not an opportunity for us to live recklessly because we value what we have.

Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It's God's gift from start to finish! We don't play the major role. If we did, we'd probably go around bragging that we'd done the whole thing! No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing

THE 12 THINGS THAT HAPPENED AT NEW BIRTH 
We are going to be seeing some basic foundational truth about a believer.
These truth are what make your walk with God beautiful. But it so surprising that lots of believers don't know these truth but I believe your eyes will be opened to your new reality as a  believer.

These are the things that happened automatically the day you were birthed in Christ. This is void of your efforts but all given at the point of new birth.

WHAT HAPPENED AT NEW BIRTH 

1. You become God's child.

John  1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

To become a child of of is to be born of God into a family of Godlike people.
You are born into a family where God is your father. And you his child have privileges to all his possession.

2. You become born again. 

John  3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

At this point you are born  a second time. But not as the old you but a a new person born of the spirit. It is the this new status of a second birth that grant you access to the father.

3. You are a new creature. 

2 Corinthians  5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

You are not the continuation of the old but a total new species of people having the supernatural life of God living and working in them. Your past becomes buried with with Christ. You become new having no past at all because anything new has no history of the  past.

4. You are accepted by God. 

Ephesians  1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

At new birth we get the privilege to be accepted by God just the way we are. This is the crave of all men to be found acceptable before God. But a a believer that is one of our rights because he gave birth to us.

5.you posses eternal life. 

John  10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

This is an ever assuring truth that we are saved and safe eternally because of the life we receive. This is not what you get when you die. No no no this is actually the life that keeps you from dying.

6. At peace with God. 

Philippians  4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

We become at peace with God and his peace becomes our resting place. And this peace keeps us from all troubles surrounding us.

7. Reconciled to God.

Romans  5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

At this moment we all become reconciled back to God. This is our original place lost at the fall of man. But new birth brings us back to fellowship with the father.

8. Passed from death to life.


1 John  3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

What we now enjoy is the very life of God which is superior death. We left the realm were death reign to the place where life rules and Reigns.

9. Justified by faith  


Romans  5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

At new birth we are declared not guilty. Not that we did right, but that Christ did right for us and we receive this justification by faith in the finished work of Christ. This is what we also get at new birth.

10. Forgiven all your sins. 

Colossians  2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

At new birth also all your sins are forgiven. You are washed in the blood of the lamb. No offense is held against you.

11. Received the righteousness of Christ.


Romans  3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

2 Corinthians  5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

This righteousness is the very nature of God that we receive. It's the ability to stand in the presence of God without guilt and inferiority complex .

12. You are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise until the day of redemption. 


Ephesians  4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

We have his sign of approval. We are sealed for all eternity  buy virtue of our new birth.

In conclusion, a whole lot of believers think these things are what you get after so much walk with God. But no that's not true we get these things instantly at the point we give our lives to Christ. These are the things that makes us children. Lots of believers don't enjoy these things because they have not acknowledge the things available to them.  My prayer for you today is to get a full understanding of what and who you are in Christ.....

No Enchantments nor divination

This is going to be a blessing to you  as you carefully read through this post today. I trust God to bring you out of any bondage and limitations.

What is enchantment? This is to be under the influence of spiritual powers targeted towards a person to destabilise his activities and make such a one useless in his walk of life. This is one of the demonic manipulations the devil uses against people all over the world.

While divination on the other hand is the practice of seeking knowledge from a spiritual source to know about a thing or a future.  This is done by  invoking demonic spirits to show a persons future and try to divert it in so many ways.

But I have a word of assurance for you as a believer reading this post anywhere in the world or an unbeliever who wants a way out of the limitations of life. For you to be out of the influence of satanic oppression you have to be in Christ. This is your way out of the demonised oppression. When you accept Christ as Lord and savior, you are delivered. This is the greatest deliverance ever. Take a look at this scripture.


Colossians  1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

We are delivered and translated from darkness to light we have a new identity with Christ. so what ever the devil does or will do has no power over us. We are now in a new system govern by new rules.

Ephesians  2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

So you see!  Where we are sitted is in Christ in the heavenly places. We are now in the place of power over all demonic forces all theirs enchantment and divination. Nothing evil  can get to us because of the placement we have in Christ Jesus. We now have power to deal with such powers.

Ephesians  1:20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,  1:21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.

All powers are subject to the rule of Christ. If they are subject to Christ they are subject to us. Why? Because we are in Him. Sitted together winning together and ruling together that's our new identity in Christ. This is not by works or special abilities but it's by his grace. Finally take a look at this scripture.

Numbers  23:23 Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!

This is happened when Balaam and balak came together to curse Isreal. On that mountain 21 altars were erected and Isreal was not aware of the plans to use Enchantments to cause them to fail.  They never prayed because  they were not aware but yet it never worked . Why? Because they are too blessed to be enchanted. We may not be aware of the attacks the devil and his agents are targeting  towards us but we are sure and aware that it doesn't have a hold now nor In the future.  by virtue of our new birth we  cannot be enchanted.  No charms no juju  powers can rule over us. Why? Jesus has made us free.


Isaiah  54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Spiritual things don't make sense

I honestly do wonder the kind of Christianity that many are into without praying or speaking in tongues... I do wonder what they do when they pray...

It is important that you know that speaking in tongues doesn't make sense, it is a very boring exercise to the senses... But which turns on the spirit self which you are to the reality of The Glory of God

The issue I wanna clear here is this....
Since God understands every language, and can understand my english language when I speak it... And he can respond in the same english if he has to, why then do I have to speak a language that I don't understand, and then be hoping that he understands?

Now this is a very vital question... Since God hears english, why can't I then speak it to him, and receive my answer straight.?.. That's beautiful, But very shallow... God hears english, But english language or anyother language is a product of your senses, and your senses cannot communicate beyond the confines of what it can feel, see or hear... therefore it is a limited tool, you need to get beyond your senses, such that you will be able to download the real stuffs that God has for you...

Let's look into this Ephesians 3:20;
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

Do you see something there?
He says God is able to do exceedingly, and abundantly above what our canal senses could ever desire...
Hey!!! What God has for you, never expect your senses to be able to think it, as to now be requesting for it in english language

For instance, while you are praying that God should build house for you and buy a car plus it, what God is saying is
Psalms 2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

You want a house, God wants to give you the world... And you know what? Your senses can never fathom that, even if God promise you, your senses will argue it, you will keep wondering How God's is gonna go about it...
But he said ask... So you need a means that is beyond your senses to be able to communicate that which is beyond your senses

I like 1cor 2:9
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

He said your heart has never known what God has in stock for you... You don't know it yet, and if you don't know it, how will you enjoy it, ? And another fact is you cannot know it except by your spirit

See what the word says

1cor.2:10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. 13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

Now that passage contains a lot of things, which we will get to explain as the series proceed... But I want you to see for now that the words which man's wisdom teaches cannot communicate the things that God has freely given to you...

And it is what you communicate that you get or that will be real in your life...

Paul prayed for philemon;
Philemon 1:6
That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

He said that the communication of his faith(spiritual realities that has been revealed to him), may become obviously real... Effectual, through acknowledging the good things that God has placed in Him

This speaking in tongues helps us to be able to pray beyond what our senses could afford...

It helps us to fulfill God's intention for our lives...
If you pray in tongues, you will like to pray again

Romans 8:26
 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

He said through groanings(gibberish words, blabbings, senseless utterances) the spirit makes intercession for us... But that is when we realize that we don't know what exactly to ask for in prayer through our english language and then engage the spirit to pray for us according to God's will...

See, your senses need not understand anything here
It is extremely spiritual, you just keep talking in tongues, keep talking mysteries, it is God's wisdom for your Glory...

You may wanna ask, which of the spirit makes the intercession; the recreated human spirit or the Holy spirit? But 1cor.6:17 has since answered that... It says; He that is joined to God is ONE spirit... I don't know which is which... You got a spirit as a new creation, and that spirit is one and Holy...

The spirit in you is one, so when you engage him in prayer, you pray according to God's eternal intention for your life

1 Corinthians 14:14
For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth....

The way to engage your spirit in prayer is to pray in tongues...

God Want You To Speak With New Tongues

Speaking in tongues or praying in tongues is not a selective doctrine that some modern day churches are venturing into...
It is God's intention, even since the foundation of the world that there will be some people on the earth, who are believers, who all speak in tongues, both to God and to other believers...

On the day of pentecost, we read that the 120 disciples who were at the upper room ALL spoke with new tongues... To the amazement of onlookers...

They said several many things about it,

Some of them said "these guys must be drunk" (I guess they must have had some demonstrations too, like that of a drunkard) others said "no they are speaking our dialect, but these are Jews" some said they are glorifying God...

But whatever they said about it has Nothing to do with it... They are canal men after all, so their observation doesn't matter...

The bible says tongues is for a sign to them(1cor.14:22), it means that it is something that's beyond their reasoning... They can't figure it out, they could assume anything about it, all that we as believer have to do is to Know what we are doing and get result through it

Act 2:39 says the promise is Unto YOU... I mean you who has believed on Jesus... And who is reading this...

God intended that you will speak with tongues, among other spiritual manifestations, and as it appears,  it seems speaking with tongues is where it begins

Jesus said this signs shall follow them that believe, he said in my name shall they cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongues... Mark 16:17

It is God's express desire, he want you to speak in new tongues...

See what I found in isaiah

Isaiah 28:11-12
For with stammering lips and another tongue. will he speak to this people.
To whom he said,
This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

He said speaking with another tongue is the rest and the refreshing wherewith You will cause your weary self to rest...

Are you weary? Financially, academically, spiritually, maritally, whatever it is, God want you to refresh with tongues.

I will point you to just two verses from the bible and then we'll continue

1 Corinthians 2:7
7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

He says we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery... The wisdom which have been ordained even before the world unto our glory...

He said we communicate that OUR Glory by speaking God's wisdom in a mystery, he says it is a hidden wisdom, it is an unexplainable wisdom, you may not express the glory if you don't speak it, God intended that we will express his Glory as we speak the mystery

And see the other verse

1 Corinthians 14:2
For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

He says when you talk tongues, c'mon! he says you are speaking Mysteries... Well if you will ask me other ways to speak mysteries, I don't think I know, But I know this one for sure, he says when we speak with tongues, we are speaking mysteries unto God, NO MAN understands...


He says HOWBEIT in the spirit, he speaketh Mysteries... Oh! Glory, can you see? When you speak with tongues, you speaking mysteries, Unto God. And that mystery you are speaking had been ordained by God before the world unto Your Glory

Eph 1:12 says God wants us to be UNTO his glory...
And as you speak with tongues, you are plugging yourself into the reality of that eternal intention of God...

You become a manifestation of His Glory...
That's God's wisdom... That it sound foolish to some is the more proof that it is God's wisdom....
